LaRae Bakerink You may contact me at any time at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We have had a great turnout of volunteers for many of our needs, would you like to volunteer too? It is exciting to see the range in age, scope of knowledge, education and career of our volunteers. Our goal is to make San Diego Mensa better every year. Our roaming Board Meetings have started and as you would think some places are better than others. Meet us at the Khan's Cave Grill & Tavern on February 4th. If we are roaming close to you, please stop and join us for the Pre-Boarding dinner and give us your opinions. Speaking of your opinions, I talked about volunteering and the benefit of San Diego Mensa. Now I would like to hear your opinion. Why did you join Mensa? How did you hear about Mensa? What do you like about it? What don’t you like? What would you change? Everyone has a different reason for joining. What’s yours? I sent out a survey last November and received some responses but if we are really to provide what you want, I would like to hear from more members. If you would please take a moment and fill out our online survey, it would be greatly appreciated. Even if you don’t want to be involved or attend any events we’d appreciate hearing from you too, and please be sure to let us know why. Click here and tell us. Your answers will help your Board provide you with the type of membership experience that you want. Did you know that we send out an e-mail blast on Sunday morning with the latest happenings for the coming week? If you haven’t signed up, or if your e-mail address has changed, click here to make sure you are signed up, or to make any necessary corrections. We want to keep you up to date on the latest fun happenings. I hope that we can work together and make this a fun and enlightening experience. Attending the Annual Gathering gave me new insight into what a “Mensan” is and who they are or who they could be, and they are all very different. Mensans seem to make their own rules and that is what makes a gathering of Mensans an extraordinary event at any time.
